Terms of Service

Welcome to Hablame. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. Read them — they’re shorter than most.
1. The service
Hablame is a location-based dating app that surfaces nearby, available users in real time. We provide the app on an “as-is” basis. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time, and will give reasonable notice for material changes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Hablame. By creating an account, you confirm you are 18 or over and that your use of the service does not violate any law where you live.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for your account and any activity under it. Don’t share your password.
- You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up and to keep it accurate.
- You may close your account at any time from Settings → Delete account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- impersonate anyone else or upload photos that aren’t of you,
- harass, threaten, intimidate, or hate-speech any other user,
- send unsolicited commercial messages or solicit money,
- use the service for any illegal purpose, or to violate anyone else’s rights,
- attempt to circumvent our security, scrape data, or use automated tools against the service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules.
5. Your content
Photos, profile text, and messages you submit are your content. You keep the rights to it. You grant Hablame a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display that content only as necessary to operate the service (for example, showing your profile to potential matches and delivering chat messages). We do not use your content for advertising or to train third-party AI.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Hablame offers a premium tier billed via Stripe Hosted Checkout. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on the cadence you select (monthly or annual). Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled; you can cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription, and your premium access continues until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
7. Refunds
Subscriptions are non-refundable once your premium access has started. EU consumers may exercise their 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU when subscribing, unless they have already begun using a paid feature — in which case that right is waived (in line with Article 16(m) of the Directive, as transposed into Spanish law). If you believe you’ve been charged in error, email us at legal@hablame.me within 14 days and we’ll review your request.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time from Settings.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that you will meet anyone, that other users are who they say they are, or that the service will be free of bugs or interruption. You meet other users at your own discretion. Hablame is not responsible for the actions of other users you meet through the service.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hablame is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you paid us in that period (if any). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of the place where Hablame is registered, except where consumer-protection law requires otherwise (EU consumers retain the right to bring proceedings in their country of residence).
12. Changes
If we make material changes to these Terms, we’ll notify you in-app and via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the changes.
